This interactive installation stems from the concept of Onion Lab, a multidisciplinary studio specializing in the creation of audiovisual experiences and a benchmark in the field of projection mapping.
From the close creative exchange emerges a sculptural installation developed for the Cristóbal Balenciaga Museum, where light, movement and sound become narrative tools to show the evolution of some of the most iconic designs of the master Balenciaga over time.
The installation consists of two pieces created specifically for the exhibition “Cristóbal Balenciaga: Technique, Material and Form”, open to the public from March 7, 2025 to January 10, 2027.
The main challenge was to create a surface that not only received light but also enhanced it, while achieving perfect synchronization between projection and support. We manufactured two large-format milled panels in Corian®, whose geometries were meticulously calculated to interact with the visual content of Onion Lab.
In this synergy with our client Onion Lab, experts in interactive experiences, we take care of the technical solution, the constructive design and the manufacture of the physical supports.
